Let's be honest - dropping $400 for an annual subscription isn't exactly pocket change for most of us in developing countries. That's why Coursera's latest offer caught my attention in a big way.

The Problem with One-Size-Fits-All Pricing

Here's something I've noticed over my years in tech education - what's affordable in San Francisco often isn't in Bangalore or Buenos Aires. The purchasing power parity is just completely different. I remember when I was starting my data science journey, I had to think twice (or thrice!) before investing in any course, even though I knew the knowledge would be valuable.

And I wasn't alone. I've received countless messages from aspiring data scientists and developers across India, Latin America, and other regions, all facing the same dilemma: "The courses look great, but the pricing is just out of reach."

Enter Regional Pricing: A Bold Move

This is where Co…

I was able to generate a few images with it which had nicely written texts inside the images. Most Image generators fail at this. It generates images and supports conversational, multi-turn editing, so you can build on previous outputs and refine them in steps. This is probably the best thing about it.

Its image analysis is sophisticated. You can upload an image to it and get to know more about it as well. Not just about others - about myself too. Let me explain:

When I was starting, I was lost in a maze of ML blogs, and courses and my mind running in 10 directions at once. "Which framework to learn?" "Is my math good enough?" The same questions I get asked today.

But now I realize that these are all patterns. The same fears I had? They're universal. That anxiety about not being good enough, about moving too slow - everyone feels it. It is like clockwork.

Teaching others via my blogs has helped me to internalize and organize my chaos. I have tried to manage my random bookmarks into structured roadmaps to help those in need.

Growth does flow both ways in mentoring. While helping others navigate their ML journey, I get to strengthen my own foundations too. Every question makes me think deeper. Oh, this is something I never thought about.

I have realized that sometimes all people need is …
